Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and ensure the facility complies with OSHA safety standards.
- Sort, organize, and stage inventory accurately to ensure efficient picking and packing processes.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Properly label, tag, and handle hazardous materials when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
