Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and stage materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Accurately count, weigh, and record inventory to maintain precise stock levels.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols regarding lifting and material handling.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.
- Valid driver's license (may be required for site-specific duties).
