Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (CLP certified) to safely transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring cargo is secured properly and weight distribution is balanced.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and perform stock replenishment to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to ensure efficient order fulfillment and workflow continuity.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (CLP) with at least 1 year of recent warehouse experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with handheld scanners and inventory software.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not always required).
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as business demands.
