Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and yard.
- Manage inventory accurately by scanning items and maintaining organized stock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification: Previous forklift operator experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates willing to obtain a forklift license.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors.
