Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of inventory, adhering to strict weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (we can assist with training if needed).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing.
