Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Ensure accurate inventory placement and stock rotation to maintain warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet shipping deadlines and order fulfillment targets.
- Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Pallet Jack).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for operating inventory scanning systems.
