Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning items and updating stock records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Prepare pallets and shipments for transport, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs and report any malfunctions.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity and order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class 1, 3, or Reach Truck) is highly preferred; on-the-job training may be available for qualified candidates.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists, packing slips, and safety manuals.
- Basic computer skills (experience with scanners/WMS is a plus).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
