Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory, ensuring all products are properly labeled and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to identify any mechanical issues.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring all documentation is accurate and orders are fulfilled on time.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a high-standard working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow staff to coordinate workflow and resolve any logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and safety guidelines.
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
