Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and emergency procedures.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of obstructions at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand labels and shipping documents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
