Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and organizing stockrooms.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift License/CLP) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
