Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to inventory management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper housekeeping of the warehouse floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and dock operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments.
