Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely maneuver forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trailers and shelving units.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and hazard-free at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Packaging: Assist in the proper packaging and labeling of outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and handling.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for yard operations.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history.
