Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and warehouse organization.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Experience: Proven experience in warehousing or logistics operations.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
