Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure the safe and organized storage of goods to optimize workflow and reduce retrieval time.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Inspect forklift equipment for defects before operation and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) preferred; on-the-job training available for reliable candidates.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the San Antonio facility.
