Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Inventory Control: Stock and retrieve inventory, ensuring all products are organized and easily accessible.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues with the equipment immediately.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label shipments to ensure they are ready for dispatch.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse flow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and safety procedures.
