Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Accurately verify inventory counts and document load details on shipping and receiving logs.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and productivity targets.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and storage areas to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CLP/HAZMAT preferred but not always required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
