Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace, including organizing pallets and aisles.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
