Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Class A, B, or C) in a fast-paced warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring cargo is secured properly and weight distribution is balanced.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of all machinery and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding stock levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a post-offer pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
