Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes, tracking stock movements, and updating logs.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and timely shipments.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for forklift certification (Class III) upon hiring.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail required for inventory counting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
