Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues before operation and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately according to shipping manifests to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely processing of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
