Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and maintaining organized storage systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding lifting, standing, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift Certification required; CDL preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
