Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with 5S standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience (certification required)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and ability to obtain additional certifications if needed
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
