Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate receiving, stocking, and inventory counting of products to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Perform rigorous loading and unloading operations for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring cargo is secure and damage-free.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label items according to shipping guidelines and company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift; ability to pass a physical fitness test.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.
- Willingness to Train: No prior forklift experience is required; candidates must be eager to learn and obtain their forklift certification.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order picking.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting inventory and measuring stock levels.
