Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently according to OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and transport pallets of merchandise within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to 5S standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CPCS or OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.
