Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
