Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through efficient stock picking and cycle counting procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company warehouse policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and pallet organization.
- Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while operating machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
