Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize inventory materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and other freight with precision and care.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S methodologies.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory accuracy.
