Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and stage materials according to production schedules and safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and racks are free of obstructions.
- Accurately document inventory movements using handheld scanners and computer systems.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Valid license required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills, along with computer proficiency for data entry.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
