Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts and equipment before use to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Read and interpret shipping orders, pick lists, and production schedules to ensure accurate inventory handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse flow.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock management as required by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for reading labels and measuring inventory.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
