The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly. You will be responsible for the accurate movement and storage of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and shipping documents to determine material requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately counting and recording stock movements.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) with valid license.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
