Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and Pallet Jack) to move, load, and unload materials with precision and care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and stock inventory, ensuring all products are properly labeled and organized within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily shipping targets, production goals, and overall operational efficiency.
- Material Handling: Perform manual handling tasks when necessary, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including load counts and equipment maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long durations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety checks.
- License: Valid Driver's License (optional but preferred for warehouse driving duties).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
