Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Assist in checking, counting, and verifying inventory levels to ensure accuracy in the stock system.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and company safety protocols.
- Palletizing: Properly stack and palletize products to maximize storage space and prevent damage.
- Shipping & Receiving: Support the receiving dock by unloading inbound freight and preparing outbound shipments.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on concrete floors.
- Documentation: Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
