Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements using WMS systems.
- Inspect forklift equipment and work areas daily to ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated areas to maximize space utilization and prevent accidents.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and following traffic patterns in the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA compliant) with valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or C) is preferred for yard duties.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
