Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of merchandise.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maintain a clutter-free and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, strictly following all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and processing paperwork.
