Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stage freight for timely delivery and distribution.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace, adhering to 5S methodologies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate inventory counts and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFII) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or scanning barcodes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
