Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator at Apex Industrial, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that materials are moved efficiently, accurately, and safely throughout our facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and stack materials onto pallets or shelves using proper securing techniques.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and logging stock movements.
- Follow strict safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (forbidden).
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Minimum 1 year of previous forklift experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
