Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently, adhering to loading dock protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S standards and safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Accurately count and verify inventory stock during inbound and outbound processes.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator with a valid license (Must provide certification details).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety (OSHA standards).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
