Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Assist with basic inventory counts, stock organization, and picking/packing orders.
- Environmental Control: Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures to ensure product integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
- General Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse, aisles, and dock areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in cold environments (below 40°F).
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
