Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment daily for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols regarding the handling of heavy loads and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packing, labeling, and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – Full training provided for certified forklift operation.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory scanning and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but a plus).
