Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of materials.
- Organize and maintain stock areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and orders.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and organized in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and logging.
