Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Organize inventory, stock shelves, and maintain accurate stock counts using handheld scanners.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to operate forklifts in Texas.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
