Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery to move inventory.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and tagging systems (e.g., WMS). Conduct regular cycle counts.
- Load and Unload:** Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols. Identify potential hazards and report them immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and tidy to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Shift Support: Assist in receiving and staging incoming shipments during the night shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification is a strong plus.
