Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas or shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (required) or willing to obtain certification.
- 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
