Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate logs of stock movement, and assist in cycle counting to ensure data integrity.
- Warehousing Operations: Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas to maximize space efficiency and prevent damage to goods.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues with forklifts or warehouse equipment immediately to the supervisor and assist in basic maintenance tasks.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders for delivery, ensuring all customer requirements are met with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery (Sit-down Forklift, Reach Truck, or Clamps) in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Must have a valid driver's license.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency to understand safety protocols and communicate with team members and supervisors.
