Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive and operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including organizing pallets and keeping aisles clear.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
