Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping/delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks as required.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and update stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
