Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, railcars, and shipping containers.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper maintenance and safety.
- Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Conduct daily safety checks and adhere to all OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
