Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working order and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Accurately count and verify inventory shipments against packing lists.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas to optimize warehouse space.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No previous forklift experience required; we will train you.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
