Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and stage materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and ensuring proper pallet placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to strict 5S safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and equipment handling.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including shrink wrapping and banding pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CFL, Reach Truck, or Order Picker).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld RF scanners.
