Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.</li><li>Ensure all materials are stacked safely and securely to prevent accidents or damage.</li><li>Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to verify operational safety and functionality.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.</li><li>Assist with inventory counts and stock management using warehouse management systems (WMS).</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling and traffic flow.</li><li>Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Valid <strong>Forklift Operator Certification</strong> (CFO) required.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.</li><li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.</li><li>Basic math skills for inventory counts and stock verification.</li><li>Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.</li><li>Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.</li></ul>
